Our client was travelling home in a taxi with his wife in 2022 when the vehicle was involved in a serious collision. As a result of the accident, our client sustained significant injuries and commenced legal proceedings to recover compensation.

Despite the third party driver being convicted of driving offenses, the third party insurer did not initially accept liability resulting in Court proceedings being issued. Pleadings were exchanged and multiple expert medical reports were obtained to establish the nature and extent of our client's injuries and ongoing symptoms. The matter was listed for a two-day trial in June 2026.



Following negotiations shortly before trial, we successfully secured a settlement of £200,000 plus costs.

This settlement brings to an end a lengthy and complex claim and provides our client with compensation for the injuries and losses he suffered as a consequence of the collision.
